Bauer Tuuk LightSpeed Edge Holder is the next generation of the legendary Tuuk family. The Edge holder sits 3mm longer on the front and back posts to reduce skate wear on the bottom as quickly, allowing players to turn tighter than ever before. Another upgrade was the quick release system. When the trigger on the rear post is fully squeezed, the blade pops out in seconds and is ready for a new pair of steels. This is an ideal pair to play with different ice hardnesses, so I can change them to different blades sharpened for different tracks. Another benefit is in an emergency where a blade breaks in game, the player won't lose gear trying to change their blade.
