CCM YTFlex II Goalkeeper caters to the young, new goalkeeper who is starting to learn the game. Return control is helped by a pre-curved blocking plate with a palm in the middle to achieve optimal balance. The thumb is a one-piece molded plastic that provides good protection, and the fingertips are protected with low-density foam and plastic inserts in case the puck drives the stick up from the shot. The palm has Nash material, which gives the goalkeeper a comfortable grip on the stick, and the surrounding fingers are a breathable mesh grip to increase air flow and reduce drying times. The segment wristband has a Velcro adjustment feature to help goalies achieve the correct fit.
