Product Description At its core, Memoir '44 is a simple game. It is based on Richard Borg's Battle cry civil war game, but it is not a deep strategy game. Players command their troops (infantry, tanks and field artillery) with cards that tell which troops are allowed to move. Battles are decided by dice rolls. There is a noticeable dose of luck involved. The game comes with 16 scenarios. The double-sided game board enables both landings and smoother matches. Small plastic soldiers and tanks are sure to appeal to your inner little boy (or girl). The scenarios include, for example, the fierce battle of the first wave of Omaha Beach, which started the movie Saving Private Ryan.
