Bauer RE-AKT 95 helmet is built for players who want elite protection, comfort and fit without breaking the bank. The RE-AKT 95 is also a great option for anyone who loved the IMS 9.0 helmet as this is a significant upgrade with an almost identical fit and feel. Bauer packed the RE-AKT 95 full of the most advanced materials, such as double-layer Poron XRD Foam pillowcases and a VTX Foam base plate. Poron XRD is a protective foam offered by Bauer , while the VTX speed pad is 31% lighter and 18% more protective than the competitor's EPP speed pad. IX-Foam is another elite foam that was strategically used in the RE-AKT 95 to eliminate protection gaps that are often overlooked by traditional helmets. The Next-Gen Suspend-Tech Line r uses a free-floating design that allows it to move independently of the helmet to reduce absorbed impact energy. These multi-density foams also feature moisture channels that keep sweat away from the player's eyes and evaporate it quickly. The RE-AKT 95 features the new spring-loaded Occipital Lock 3.0 device and has three different height adjustment options for perfect locking. There's also a tool-less, lockable front-to-back adjustment on the back that's easy to dial in on the fly. With the IMS 9.0 helmet experiencing huge success, Bauer wanted to make sure its fans still had an option in their lineup. Bauer 3D scanned the IMS 9.0 so they could build the RE-AKT 95 with the same fit and feel, just with significant protection updates.
